About
A web studio that designs, builds and ships.
This page covers what we believe, who is responsible for the work, and where things actually stand right now — including the parts that are not there yet.
What we believe
Four working principles that hold on every project.
- 01
Websites are for using, not just for looking at
Beautiful and usable is not a choice of one. Whether you can get through it on the keyboard alone, whether it still reads when the text is enlarged, whether the colours hold up — that goes into the requirements on day one, not onto a punch list at the end. - 02
What we hand over has to be maintainable
You get more than a set of screens: one set of rules, parts you can reuse, and written guidance. The next revision has somewhere to start, instead of one bundle nobody dares to touch. - 03
Nothing unnecessary
Everything extra a page loads is a cost your visitors pay: waiting, battery and privacy. If built-in type and a plain approach can do the job, we do not add more for the sake of it. - 04
Every decision comes with a reason
Layout, type size, colour and every choice behind them have to be explainable. A decision we cannot explain is a decision we have not finished thinking about.
Who is responsible
Hsu, Chao-Chun (許朝鈞), representative of the preparatory office and the person who currently does the design and the build.
There is no layer in between: write to contact@qianyun.co or call +886 978 375 777, and the same person picks it up. From the first conversation to handover, the person answering you does not change.
You will not find credentials, years of experience or awards listed here — none of that can be verified from this website. What can be verified is the site itself: how quickly it opens, whether you can get through it with a keyboard alone, whether it still reads with the text enlarged, and whether it looks as good on a phone.
Company details
The unified business number and the registered address have not been obtained yet; those fields read "To be announced upon completion of incorporation registration" and will be updated on this page once registration is complete.
Where things stand
The following is our actual status right now, for counterparties and job applicants to check.
Have a site in mind?
Tell us what you want to make and where things stand; we will reply to confirm the requirements and scope.
To get a feel for the style first, the work page has three demo templates (invented brands, not client work).
